One Hillsborough at Hillsborough's National Day of Prayer
The Hillsborough Interfaith Community hosted a brief service on May 2nd, 2024 to commemorate the 2024 National Day of Prayer at the Hillsborough Garden of Honor. Rev. Williams represented One Hillsborough.
SECOND Town-Wide Community Conversation
One Hillsborough, a cross-cultural community advocacy coalition, invites all citizens to its SECOND town-wide platform for community conversations to be held on Monday 29 April 2024 from 5:30 pm –7:30 pm, with free dinner!

Inaugural Town-Wide Community Conversation
One Hillsborough held its first town-wide platform for community conversations on January 20th, 2023, from 6–9 p.m. at the Hillsborough municipal building to commemorate Dr. Martin Luther King’s legacy of civil engagement, social justice and service to a greater good.
Community Conversations becomes One Hillsborough
Community Conversations has grown. A name change and a broader mission was in order after four years.
Second Community Screening of Me, the Other
After receiving so much positive response from our initial screening of the feature documentary Me, the Other, a second screening was held on the night of October 15th, 2022, at the Ruiter home library.

COUNTDOWN Global Launch 10/10/20
Countdown is a global initiative to champion and accelerate solutions to the climate crisis, turning ideas into action. The goal: To build a better future by cutting greenhouse gas emissions in half by 2030 in the race to a zero-carbon world – a world that is safer, cleaner and fairer for everyone. Every organization, company, city and nation and citizens everywhere are invited to collaborate with Countdown and take action on climate. It is a movement open to everyone – and everyone has a vital role to play.
BLM Hillsborough 2020
Hillsborough residents came out in large numbers on June 6th, 2020, to support Black Lives Matter. Impression will be posted soon, but here are some pictures of this historic event.
National Day of Racial Healing 2020 in Hillsborough
An evening of art, dialogue and learning tools to build racial literacy. On Thursday evening January 22nd, Community Conversations hosted an event from 7-8:30 at Hillsborough High School Library to commemorate the National Day of Racial Healing.
Turning the Pages of Hillsborough 2019
The first Community Conversations public event was held on Saturday June 1, 2019 from 2-5 p.m. at the Hillsborough Public Library. Guest speakers included Beverly Mills and Elaine Bucks, authors of If These Stones Could Talk; HHS student historians that are working towards building a catalog of human stories from our town, HHS TED-Ed speakers discussing their own journey and how it relates to history. There were musical and art presentations about the Hillsborough community.
